cott has over 15 years of investment banking and transactional planning experience, including Merger/Acquisition Planning, Recapitalizations, Corporate Planning and Tax Strategies. His core focus and responsibilities are within the Investment Banking division of the firm where he enjoys working with private business owners to help them align their goals with their exit strategy through out every stage of the transaction process.
Scott's passion for business has exposed him to many opportunities and experiences. He is involved as a shareholder in several business opportunities and is a current Board member for Crimson Trace Corporation and is an advisor to the Board of Directors of Snapware Corporation. He also serves on the Investment Committee for the firm and is active within other client management teams.
Scott is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). He received his B.S. in Accounting from Central Washington University in 1993.
He has used his leadership skills to benefit civic organizations. He currently serves on the Board of The Final Word, a regional Christian radio program. His other passions include his family, basketball and outdoor activities.
